The story continues, and finally, finally we have a little witchiness going on. However, I did not think that this one was nearly as good as the first two--it was a little scattered to say the least. The big reveal of the culprit of the murder mystery was delivered in a confusion of Lemmi telling a story rather than in any sensible way. I understand that Lemmi is confused by all the goings on, but communicating that confusion to the reader is just bad business. The story just didn't come together for me. And I still don't like Charlie. I'm hoping she comes to her senses and goes to live with the other reporter just so I don't have to listen to her pontificating and trying to order everyone about!Product details

Things are changing. Strangers on the doorstep. Witches around town. Of course, a new mystery to solve. Love this series.
Really loving this series. Fun and funny characters and interesting storylines. Looking forward to the next book and seeing what develops.
Worst part of this book, coming to the end and realizing I'll have to wait for the next installment. The prospective boy friend a witch hunter? The aunt shows up and the place is rife with evil witches!
I have enjoyed the series so far. I like the friendship between the characters. Still needs so editing help, but I like the book.
I enjoyed the fact that she had such good female friends, whom could be trusted with her secret even with their diverse work & temperaments. And I ADORE Paws. He needs his own series.
I actually enjoyed the mystery itself even though it was a little hard for me to follow the direction. I'm glad to see some progress has been made in the overall plot, but I look forward to finding out more! The characters are beginning to get slightly more interesting, though I definitely look forward to seeing how things with Jasper turn out!
Gifts come with responsibility and in this had been paperback I would have skipped to the end. It is so frustrating that Lemmi continues to be lazy about learning about her heritage. Most of her time is spent visiting in town. In each previous book her family's ghost familiar asks repeatedly for her to learn the basics, now she and her friends are in danger. The previous books received five stars.
